RAIN / Software

Operate the loop.Keep the boundary clear.

An administration planning guide for a first RAIN pilot: local data, system health, model changes and recovery.

Pilot operations guide

INTELLIGENCE BELONGS WHERE THE DATA LIVES.

01 / THE IDEA

Plan for the ordinary day and the interrupted one.

A local system needs an operating plan as well as a model. Before a field pilot, agree who manages access, checks capture health, reviews model changes and responds to interruptions. These are planning requirements; a production administration console and full runbook are not released here.

01

Data and access

Name the source owner and administrative responsibilities. Agree read-only credentials, retention, local storage limits and how access will be removed when a trial ends.

02

Health and availability

Define checks for signal freshness, capture gaps, available storage and model execution. Make stale or missing inputs distinguishable from a quiet asset.

03

Changes and recovery

Keep model versions and evaluation outcomes available for review. Verify restart, rollback and recovery behavior on target hardware before relying on sustained operation.

02 / IN PRACTICE

Put the thinking into practice.

Define the scope, preserve the boundary, and make the outcome something a person can inspect.

  1. 01

    Prepare the operating plan

Assign an owner for hardware, software, data access and operator review. Record the installation constraints and the agreed site boundary.

  2. 02

    Observe the trial

Review data quality and health alongside advisories. Record interruptions and maintenance effort so the pilot captures operating cost as well as model behavior.

  3. 03

    Close or expand deliberately

At the review point, preserve the agreed evidence, handle retained data and revoke unneeded access. Reassess the plan before extending the scope.

03 / A FEW DETAILS

Worth understanding.

Can I sign in to a live RAIN admin console?

No public administration service is configured on this website. The homepage console is illustrative, and this page describes pilot planning rather than a live control panel.

Are uptime or support levels defined?

Production service levels and support terms are not established here. Stable operation and deployment effort are questions the first field pilot needs to evaluate.

BUILD WITH RAIN

One site. One question.
A useful next step.

RAIN is preparing for its first field pilot. Start by defining the environment, the data boundary, and what success should look like.
